What a lovely place to visit, so tranquil. Definitely walk down to it if you would like to understand how canals work! Definitely a great place to have a look

Lovely scenery around the area and some great pubs serving amazing food. I would recommend it especially if your on a canal boat holiday.

Lovely location right by the canal. Staff friendly and helpful. Food very good. Brilliant location for a night's stay. No facilities except for toilets when open. Handy for visiting RoadPro, 10 minutes down the road.

Narrowboaters junction, Chandler's, village with private butchers and I do recommend their Stilton & chilli pork pie with a nice glass of red, the perfect ending to a long cruising day. Two pubs, The Boat House, more of a chain feel and the Admiral Nelson, traditional pub, dog friendly if well behaved

Just love the busyness yet quietness of the canal hub. Good pub there too
