Great little shop to get your essentials when you're on the canal.

Great little shop. Sells essential supplies for boaters as well as sweets, drinks, ice creams. Un-surprisingly other canal related items but few clothing items too. Found a shower-proof bucket hat! All items very reasonably priced. Little treasure.

A good little shop for boat people and walkers that pass by, they sell, maps, books, pictures, handpainted items etc. and some of your everyday essential food & drink. And a nice friendly & helpful shopkeeper.

Sweet little store, old fashioned and good selection of gifts and snacks at probably better than average value. Lady seemed very pleasant. Interesting items on display with all kinds of local navigational history as you enter. Nice to have such a store on the waters edge! But, it does smell badly of stale smoke and the Aldi own branded foodstuffs being resold was a bit of a surprise…

I always make a point of stopping here on my way through Braunston. Lovely little shop. Also serves fresh bread in the mornings from 8am.

As we entered the shop we said good afternoon to the lady serving who in return did not speak a word to us. As we browsed around she stood behind the counter and looked at the locks we both looked at each other and walked out and said we would not spend on money at a place like this.

Came across the shop after walk along the Towpath upon entering the shop we said good afternoon to the lady serving she did not respond to us or put Eye To Eye Contact she went to the till area and looked out the window towards the locks still without saying anything at all so we decided to leave would not buy anything from such a person such a shame as could be such a nice shop but also smells like a charity shop.

Walked here, from Gongoozler cafe. What a charming, tiny, very old-fashioned, shop. Not much more than the front room of an ex-lock-keeper's cottage. Still carries a wide range of boat oriented stores, and sweeties, for the passing folks. Do stick your head in for an iced cream, and a sit by the canal. Covid restrictions apply at time or writing. It does get busy.
