I had a walk around the marina and along the canal during Christmas week, everything was closed but was still interesting walking around and seeing the narrow boats and the canal.

Got our order wrong. Had to ask 3/4 times for it. Only a biscuit. Coffee warm. Bread pudding to die for. Really nice. Will we go again. Maybe not!

1st rate. I went with a shopping list of work to be done and the guys delivered 100%. Quality work delivered when they said they would and at the price quoted. Many thanks to all.

I parked at the Marina as we went along the canal for a walk. It was the day after the annual show so although nothing was open, there were plenty of boats to see and people to chat to on the barges.

Went to the boat show today, nice show, nice little area of stalls and bars, nice parade of boats. However, £20 for parking, cash only and no concessions for blue badge holders. Would have happily paid £5. Parked in the pub car park, enjoyed the show, spent money on food and drinks using a card, then went to the pub and spent the car park money on a meal. Can anyone justify the parking fee?

Very big marina with lots of history. Lovely place to walk round with caravan site cl and boat sales office. Cafe boat at entrance sells excellent food and there are some great walks each way along the canal towpath. The annual historic boat rally at the marina is well worth a visit. Braunston village is a short walk up the hill from the canal with some excellent shops and pubs.

We particularly enjoyed the cafe on the barge where the huge bacon baguette, with chips and salad, was quite a challenge but I was hungry. The assistant in the chandlery was very helpful and we found the dry docks interesting. Maybe one day we'll see a boat arriving in the dock and then resting onto the pontoons as the dock is drained.

Delightful family run marina on the Oxford canal in the delightful village of Braunstone where there are several pubs. The marina has numerous facilities including washing machines, chandlery, shop, narrow boat facilities, repairs plus lots more in a delightful setting with antique derricks and a huge canal basin with two entrances. For those who don’t like locks there is an uninterrupted cruising to Rugby and the Coventry canal at Hawksbury junction otherwise in the other directions there are locks at Hillmartin and a tunnel to navigate. Try a snack on Gongoozelers narrow boat restaurant close to the marina, it’s a must! Had a wonderful time onboard Florian my friends glorious 65’ narrow boat

Lovely marina, great facilities and services. Seems reasonably priced. Braunston itself is very picturesque

A beautifully manicured little town, quite a find on a sunny day for a couple of hours walking. Try crossing the canal and walking through the fields rather than along the tow path.
